We recently received this lovely update from our friends at TOLFA (The Tree of Life for Animals) over in Rajasthan, India, who we have supported for many years. For dogs staying at TOLFA, their kennels are a safe place to call their own. Some arrive frightened, injured or unsure of the people around them. It can take time, but little by little, they begin to feel safe.
A gentle touch, a wagging tail or a dog finally settling down for a peaceful sleep are the moments that mean so much. These small changes are a lovely reminder of just how important a safe space and a little kindness can be. Our kennel sponsorship helps to provide that safe space. It helps make sure a dog has somewhere warm and secure to rest, as well as food, care and the medical attention they need while they are with them.
