These AZAD blowers have been made since 1913 and are in use in their tens of thousands across India, Nepal and further afield. They are made from cast aluminium (not pressed tin or plastic), painted grey and come ready for simple assembly.

This is a robust design using a worm drive to spin a fan at high speed, making them very effective at getting a fire going. No batteries or power supply, all done by hand. Bearings and drives can be re-oiled through the lubrication points.
